noun. A very passive agressive person who manipulates situations to make themselves look like the victim when they are, in fact, the instigator.

verb. To 'goff' someone is to be a goff (n) towards them, i.e. to make them the target of passive agressive activity.

Noun or Verb
Goff or derivatives of the word "goff" can be used to substitute most words. The word comes from when someone mispronounced "golf" and "goff" was realized to take the place of so much more than just golf.

Helen: "So, I'm going with Vern to play goff today."
