It is usually practised by people that don't have the intellectual capacity to understand true wisdom found through the study and challenge of Philosophical concepts and ideas. It is basically a blind and dumbed-down belief in more complex and thought out ideologies, but without putting in the work to actually obtain any significant kind of knowledge directly beneficial to the individual or society itself. It is also often used to exploit these stupid people for profitable purposes.
