Phenomenon of someone afraid of losing a match claiming next point decides the winner despite rules. Usually followed up by gratuitous smack talk.

A: Scores point to tie the game in overtime
B: "Aww man, we need to hurry this up. I've got a meeting ... so next point wins."
B: Scores point
B: "Yes! Ugh!"
A: "Dude, house rules say you need to win by two."
B: "Sorry man, later!"
B: Walks away and talking trash
A: "I cannot believe he put the Wilkins effect on me; this is so BS!"

A noun that is widely known amongst the students of the class of 2012 that have ever been in Ms. Gloria Wilkerson's English class in JLMS. This noun refers to any word that was learned or used by Gloria Wilkerson that hadn't been known before. These words consist of the following: irked, scrutinizing, harangue etc.
