BROMINATED VEGETABLE OIL

Brominated vegetable oil (BVO) is vegetable oil that has had atoms of the element bromine bonded to it. Brominated vegetable oil is used as an emulsifier in citrus-flavored soft drinks such as Mountain Dew and Gatorade to help natural citrus flavors stay suspended in the drink and to produce a cloudy appearance.

Oh look that soda looks like it has "brominated vegetable oil" in it.

Used to refer to a member of the opposite sex with whom you are sexually involved with, but you don't want the general population to know about him/her because you aren't exclusive with this individual. Also commonly referred to as a V.I.E. Typically used when the certain individual is too stupid to realize they are just being used for sex.

John: "Why didn't you bring Lauren to the office Christmas party?"

Ben: "Because she is the my V.I.E. Shhhh...before someone hears you! I am trying get with the new girl tonight."

John: "Your what?"

Ben: "Variable interest entity; we have sex occasionally but we aren't exclusive. Nor is she marriage material."

The vegetableatarian looked uncomfortable when we ordered a all meat pizza. He decided to order a side salad to go with the pizza.
