Hard to decide if I liked it or not. Of course, this movie was a mess, but it was such a colorful, lively mess that it was strangely fascinating to watch in its own chaotic way. It's one of those movie you watch and think, "Which random direction is this lunacy going to go now?"

The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and The Village were better than Lady in the Water but Signs is still my least favorite; I just didn't care about the characters.

When a friend has run out of luck with a job, relationship or just life in general, they are floating along like toast on the water. Their situation, the toast, is now becoming soggy and tearing apart by the waves. Now they are waiting to sink to the bottom and become fish bait. Their only hope is to be picked up by a sea gull to have the misery swiftly ended.

He is toast on the water after losing his job.

She is toast on the water now that he won't pay the credit card bill.

If our team can't score, this game is toast on the water.
