The Swizzy

Nickname attributed to NBA Player, and Milwaukee Bucks Point Guard, Brandon Jennings. The nickname is a modification of Jennings' original nickname, "The Swizzle Stick" which was coined by NBA Broadcaster, and Bucks play by play announcer, Jim Paschke.

Jim Paschke coined the nickname based on Jennings explosive play and command of the team early on in the 2009-10 NBA season. The Swizzle Stick was in reference to Jennings' slight frame and his ability to motivate and "stir the drink" of the Milwaukee Bucks on-court play and momentum.

"The Swizzy" was an abbreviated, modification of 'The Swizzle Stick' that began appearing online in Milwaukee Bucks fan communities and related social media in November 2009. It identifies Jennings' association inside of youth pop culture and supports his larger than life personality on and off the court.

SWIZZLECAP

The SWIZZLECAP is a particular breed of male, usually but not necessarily a sports fan. The chief identifying mark is the baseball cap worn backwards or "swizzled" on the head at all times. The acute lack of fashion sense of the SWIZZLECAP leads to inappropriate head adornment at fine restaurants, funerals, weddings, bar mitzvahs and other formal occasions. Secondary SWIZZLECAP characteristics include a tendency toward pack animal behavior, generally questionable personal hygiene and a strong attraction to their vapid and bland female counterparts known as "SWIZZLESTICKS"

Let's avoid Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood tonight. There was a Cubs game and every bar will be full of SWIZZLECAPS.
