The best type of weather. CAVOK is an abbreviation often used in meteorogical aerodrome reports (METAR), which stands for Clouds And Visibility OK. Simplified, it implies that there are no clouds significant for pilots to keep in mind, and will make for an nice day of flying.
Severe CAVOK is an unofficial term jokingly made up by pilots, which used to describe a day when it is sunny, no clouds, no wind, and a comfortable air temperature.

Severe Storms are a weather phenomena that can contain severe and damaging wind and wind gusts, hail (sometimes) and tornadoes.
what classifies a storm as "severe" is when wind gusts reaches of atleast 58mph and/or hail one inch diameter (about the size of a quarter) or larger and/or a tornado.
Severe Storms can cause alot of damage and power outages, tho they look like a hurricane hit your home country.
