Pápi Pingu is the father of Pingu, and they both participate in the show “Pingu” where Pingu is the main character. Pápi Pingu is often seen very mad on the show, and when BBC asked him of stage if he really was mad, he answered (on Pápi Pingu language):”Pingu aktar óhugnaliga illa og lugtar av lorti. Hann sigur ei heldur Harra Pápi Pingu, tá hann støkkur inn á gátt hjá Abba Pingu.” BBC knew exactly what Pápi Pingu was talking about and understood the situation.
