Phrase from the comedy classic, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Because of its relatively obscure nature, it is most often used among geeks and hackers. When someone uses this phrase, it is customary for anyone in earshot to point their index finger upward and wave it like a flag in a circular motion, coupled with a very insincere "yaay" - another reference to the original scene.

A: I smote the dragon, and there was much rejoicing.
B: *twirls finger in the air* yaay.

too much sausage in the gumbo

Mainly applicable to hot tub parties, but can refer to any social gathering which has a greater than 3 to 1 ratio of males to females. Based on the generally accepted practice of mixing seafood (particuarly oysters, which resemble female gentalia when shucked and slightly cooked), and sausage (no explanation needed), 50-50 in a gumbo stew. This phrase is best understood, and thusly used for humorous purposes in southern parts of the U.S. where people make and eat gumbo on a regular basis.

I went to my friends hot tub party in New Orleans, but after seeing that he had invited 45 of his frat boy buddies and only three chicks, it was a clear case of "too much sausage in the gumbo".

Too Much Rock for One Hand

A gesture made by clenching both fists, extending the left and right pinky together simultaneously, and placing the fists side-by-side, resulting in an exaggerated form of the traditional "horn hand"/rock hand signal. Often done to convey a sense of irony.

"Duuuude! That Darkness album is frickkin' sweet... it was TOO MUCH ROCK FOR ONE HAND!"

Doin too much

verb. doing more than needs to be done or should be done.

Say some girl likes a guy at a club, so she follows him around and tries to talk to him at every chance she gets, even though he is clearly uninterested.

"Look at that poor girl, she's doin too much!"

Also, girls and guys who are obviously trying way too hard to act cool or look good.

"Did you see that girl with her titties hanging out for everyone to see? She's doin way too much!"
