Item Smuggling

A tactic in Mario Kart, in which a player purposefully enters a lower position in order to obtain better items, followed by the player taking said items into higher positions in order to use them where they shouldn't, and wouldn't, normally be able to.

"Why is Mankalor in ninth?"
"Watch yourself. He's probably Item Smuggling."

shelf item

When you acquire info that conflicts with your integrity, but don’t want to leave the cult, so you put it on your “shelf” to worry about later. As you start adding more shelf items until it ultimately collapses, then you decide to just “fuck it” and leave the cult.

How the Church treats women was a major shelf item for me. Their treatment of LGBT individuals caused my shelf to break.

Crab Item

An corrupted anagram of "break time", used in the presence of overzealous managers who dislike people taking breaks of any kind. Sometimes accompanied by the waving of hands in a "crab claw" fashion in high-noise environments.
