It means i dont understand.

when youre "following" someone during a conversation it means you understand what they are saying or where theyre going with a story. when you dont follow it means youre lost- what they are saying doesnt make sense to you.

You can simply put it in the end of the sentence for I don't follow

mutual follow

You follow a friend or acquaintance on a social networking site (Instagram/Twitter) in exchange for them to follow you. You don't really know them, it's used to boost followers but with people you kinda know. It's called a "mutual follow" because once someone unfollows, the other follows suite.

The act of writing on someone's Facebook wall, poking them, or sending them a Bumper Sticker after seeing them or hanging out with them, often to make light of a joke or incident from the hang-out session. Usually pointless, but creates excitement in the form of a new notification.

when you follow someone on Twitter solely because they're smoking hot.

Kyle "Shallow Followed" Trevor on Twitter only because he saw that he's hot.

Kyle stumbled across Trevor today from a Retweet—and when he clicked over to Trevor's profile avi he saw that Trevor was super-fucking hot and muscly with a great smile. So Kyle Shallow-Followed him because he doesn't care what he tweets or says just so long as he's hot.
