Pretending to have disorders (such as ADHD, depression...). Most people fake it because they want attention, likes, shares, views and comments. It's mostly done in social media (such as TikTok, Instagram...). Here's the list of commonly faked disorders:
-Tics (common in TikTok)

To spot a fake disorder, here's some red flags you should follow (this list will assume that you're on social media and looking at their video):

-Look at the comments (look for 'you faking it' or something, the faker would probably say something like 'no i have it, you are the faker')

-Look at older and newer content (effective for Tics and OCD)

-They alter to other personality in the beat of music (effective for DID)

-They threaten you that they will alter to you and beat you (effective for DID)

-They have vhs edited Bart Simpson, some 'deep feeling' music and says something like 'I want to die' 'I want to end it' 'I cant do this anymore' (effective for Depression)

-They have list of 'disorders' that they have (commom in tiktok)

-They list of 'personalities' that they alter to (example: they take picture of popular youtuber (usually minecrafter), the make dogshit like
-Jikk He/Him hates you, bald
-Ienhu He/Him hates transgander people
-TechnoNoob He/Him has adhd, trash at minecraft
)

*Due to 1500 character limit there isnt more red flags*

sympathy seeking disorder

Sympathy Seeking Disorder. A made-up term obviously but, for those who don’t quite understand this, it refers to the person who dwells on the “woe is me” aspects of life. They are truly miserable; the eternal victim of life. They reserve the right to communicate their frustrations with their “wrong doer’s” publically to get sympathy, via social media; facebook in particular with extremely obvious status updates which they deem pseudo cryptic. They refuse to take responsibility for their own actions and appear incredibly weak.
All of her FB status's about karma and man bashing since her divorce lead me to believe that she suffers from a sympathy seeking disorder.

Obsessive Compulsive Bank Robbing Disorder

A disabling psychological disorder that propels the sufferer to repeatedly and uncontrollably rob banks until they are finally nabbed and sent inside where they are left to regale their psychologists with exciting stories about their own magnetic personalities and long-standing risk taking patterns since childhood.
I’d asked my attorney to make it clear that I am a victim of a serious case of Obsessive Compulsive Bank Robbing Disorder but the judge laughed in open court and dismissed it as a manipulative ploy to obtain a reduced sentence.

Geriatric Profanity Disorder

A common medical disorder in which a cantankerous, old, senior citizen will not stop swearing. Usually directed toward ungrateful "youngsters" meaning anyone from 1 to 55 years of age.

The reasons behind this ailment are quite simple. They've lived long enough that they no longer give a shit who they annoy. So you damn well better listen, you ingrate, or you're gonna get a cane upside your head.

Also known as G.P.D.
Example 1

Person 1: Man, can you believe Craig's creepy uncle? I was just walking by his room, minding my own business, when he poked me with his cane and called me a no good poncy faggot.

Person 2: Yeah dude, he's got a bad case of G.P.D. I'm getting him Brad Goodman's self-help video this Christmas.

Example 2:

Doctor: I'm afraid it doesn't look good Mister Daniels. You have an advanced case of Geriatric Profanity Disorder, and I'm going to have to advise immediate euthanasia.

Mr. Daniels: Speak up you pompous son of a bitch!

Obsessive Kid Cudism Disorder

Can be shortened to OKCD. Commonly found in teenagers that engage in illegal activities (such as smoking marijuana). Symptoms include feeling the need to skip school to go to cudi concerts, periodically posting cudi lyrics as your Facebook status, experiencing elation and relaxation only while listening to cudi songs, and bonding with other people simply on the basis of a mutual love for the same artist.
My friend Stan exhibits all the symptoms of Obsessive Kid Cudism Disorder and I'm worried that he may have to seek professional psychiatric help very soon.

World Of Warcraft Disorder

A severe mental disorder that is virtually incurable. It's extremely contagious. If a close friend or family member has WOWD, get them help as soon as you can. It's transmitted through online interaction and/or real life social contact. Word of mouth is thought to be another means of contraction, but this has not been proven as of yet. There are many symptoms of WOWD:
-Loss of friends, money, job, etc.
-Low care for hygiene, pimples, bad teeth.
-Development of the ability to live on only milk and human excrement
-Deterioration of the brain
-and/or vomiting, headaches, and death.

There is one upside to WOWD, however: Most WOW users do not do drugs, but instead fap. The reason for this is unknown, but it is thought to occur because of the player's inability to leave the chair because of the skin's fusing to the leather.
Joe spent 3 years in his room with only 3 gallons of milk and a windows '96. Upon being found living, he was diagnosed with a very mild case of World Of Warcraft Disorder. His face was found to be full of WOWD - born pimples, but the doctors had seen much worse.
