"Welp, time to go drop the kids off at the pool" is a common exclamation of a dad after going hard at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Hence he is a buffet dad.

Buffet

Usually a long line of random foods that will make you want to taste everything. This will result in a very big stomach ache and/or the inability to stand up and walk around.

Maria: Man! Look at this buffet! There's so much food! I'll just taste a bit of everything.

Buffer Zone

A distance of at least one unit of seating (e.g. a chair, a foot or two on a bench) in between you and at least one other person. It is most often used when: a) a foul odor is emanating from the person next to you b) you don't want to be accused of being too close to a person of the same sex for, well, obvious reasons...homosexuality c) discomfort

"Hey dude you smell like shit, we should have a 1 desk buffer zone or I'll pass out during class."

Buffering

Buffering refers to that period of time that you lost previous to when you suddenly become aware you are now not doing anything. This is your brain trying to load normal function and cognition whilst enhanced or debilitated by mind altering drugs. The time you were buffering will be unbeknown to the bufferer and they will then continue with a new task or indeed the original task.

Guys what was i doing? I seem to have been buffering...I'll rack up the next line then!
