Boredom Amnesia

Memory loss due to a severe feeling of boredom. Your brain is in a non-functional and non-productive state for so long that it even stops recording memories.

I had nothing to do all day at work today and I was bored out of my head. When the time came to fill in my timesheet I couldn't remember what I was doing all day. I must be suffering from boredom amnesia.

Cabinet Amnesia

When start or are about to do or say something then you either forget about it or space out while doing said action. The phenomenon in which you do or are about to do something and forget why you wanted to or did it in the first place.

I was opening a cabinet then I forgot why I opened a cabinet, therefore why I named it Cabinet Amnesia.

Right after the coming attractions but before the feature starts when you forget what movie you came to see.

Movie: (after 5 previews) And now your feature presentation..
Guy 1: Oh man, what are we seeing again?
Guy 2: You always get the worst trailer amnesia, you're the one that wanted to see Big Mama 3!

Muslim Amnesia

The phenomenon where a muslim will say "Bismillah" before eating and then a few seconds later will forget they even said it and question themselves if they saif "Bismillah". The muslim will then say "Bismillah Fi Awwalihi Wa Akhirih". Then the process will repeat until they are sure they said "Bismillah" in some form.

-Wait, did i say Bismillah before eating?
-Yes, you did.
-Ok, thanks. I got a real problem with muslim amnesia.
