Buck is characterized by a slow beat with heavy bass and abundant synthesizers. Lyricism isn't required. The lyrics usually consist of chants and call-and-response lyrics typically found in New Orleans Bounce music. Buck is the cousin of Crunk and New Orleans Bounce music.
