A hangover that seems to subside but then returns with a vengeance. Much like a boomerang

Woke up hungover,

Had a nap
Went for food - felt better.
Had another nap since I had food coma
Woke up with the spins.

Is there such a thing as a hang-a-rang? Because I think I got it.
