zeroed a check

When one group or organization writes a check or pays money on behalf of another, usually unaffiliated group or organization, after which the original organization is reimbursed by the latter organization or group, essentially "zeroing" or canceling the balance exactly.

United Way of America zeroed a check for us to pay off the rental fees because we are unaffiliated with them.

Nut check

When you go to the clinic and have to have your nuts checked for work. A periodic check, evaluation for competence to work. Checking if you have a hernia. During the nut check, the doctor puts two fingers on your scrotum, tells you to turn your head and cough. If you don't have pain doing this, you have passed the nut check!

Alfred: Hey Billy, how was your nut check at the clinic?
Billy: It was great! I throughly enjoyed it!

1) When someone with correct knowledge asks a question that would be immediately obvious to another person that has implied that they know about a given subject.

2) A sudden test of one’s knowledge on a subject to determine if their knowledge is truthful or not.

Person 1: Yea, I loved Stranger Things!
Person 2: Oh dude, what’s that band that’s way more popular now because of it again?
Person 1: oh shoot, I can’t remember

1. (Verb) When a classic 'Bro' archetype clips you in a bar/party setting and keeps on walking. Similar to the way checking is used in hockey.

2. (Verb) A hard shoulder check used to tell strangers that you're an alpha-male.

e.g.; "Hey Betty, did you see that? The huge meat-heat over at the end of the bar bro-checked Thomas as he was walking by. What a douche, Thomas spilled his beer all over himself and the guy didn't even turn around to say sorry. Well, at least that guy looked good doing it in his rhinestone bedazeled dragon themed Affliction extra-medium T-shirt."
