When you come up with something that you think is cool and funny and you think you're the first person to think of it, but it turns out many people have thought of it long before you.

Person 1: Bro! I have a crazy idea! Imagine Frankenstein but he's a prankster, and his name is PRANKENSTEIN. Why has no one ever though of this before?

Person 2: That joke has been used several times already by many other people.

Person 1: Fuck. I'll call this phenomenon "The Prankenstein Effect"

The Fredy Effect

The result of being coerced into “1 to 2” alcoholic beverages after a night at work. These 1 or 2 beverages then become an evening/morning of intense intoxication with drug usage. This effect will indefinitely result in multiple “afters” and wanting to die or quit your job the next morning.

I got hit with The Fredy Effect last night. I was 2 hours late to work and I want to die.

Cyrus Effect

The Cyrus Effect is the result of the presence of a cyrus online causing you to lag/wifi go down whenever they appear online. It may seem like a coincidence until it happens every single time. Careful though, it will sometimes not mess with your wifi and mess with somebody else instead to throw you off its trail. Spread the word.

Pygmalion Effect

The Pygmalion Effect explains that people tend to perform up to the level that others expect of them. This effect explains why our relationships are usually self-fulfilling prophecies.
