A Cathy is a person who is very good at saying it like it is. They tend to be "brutally honest", but you should listen to their honesty, it is usually good stuff. they tend to be annoying in many ways, but when you overlook this fact they are very good at listening to random rants, quickly learning the wrong lyrics to good songs, and even keeping an inside joke.
