Adj.Botanical term referring to the inability of predominantly urban people to distinguish common plants.
V. The inability to see or notice the plants in one's own environment.

Coined in 1998 by Wandersee and Schlusser

Fuck Blind

Used to describe the state of being of the cuter person in a relationship, when they are dating an uglier or older person. They ignore age, looks just for the sex in the relationship.

Did you see how old that lady was? She could be his mother. He will leave her eventually but right now he's being "fuck blind".

Crayola blind

The condition of not being able to distinguish between colors any more distinct than the 8 colors found in the original Crayola Crayons 8 pack.

This is not a disability in the same way as color blindness(though that can be part of it), it is more of a lack in vocabulary or interest.

This condition is found mostly in men, and can be spotted when they refer to teal as green, tangerine as orange, or azure as blue.

Usage:
(in traffic)
Boyfriend: "Hey look over there, that guys picking his nose."
Girlfriend: "Where?"
Boyfriend: "In that red car."
Girlfriend: "That car is burgundy."
Boyfriend: "Sorry I'm Crayola blind."

Partner Blindness

Partner Blindness (PB) allows your partner to not see any of the things that needs to be done... like bathroom look like a frat house, partner blindness allows them to see it as the Ritz Carlton... garbage overflowing? PB allows them to walk right by... 5 baskets of laundry sitting on the table needing to go upstairs? PB allows for them to become very resourceful and eat on the square inch that is not covered

Is your Partner Blindness acting up? Can you not see the massive amount of dishes in the sink?

blind transfer

An incredibly satisfying act in which you send a caller to another line, extension, location, etc. with no prior conversation with the receiving end of the transfer. Most useful for sending off callers who have no business on your specific line, and you have no desire to speak with whoever the call is being passed onto.

Some customer called our store instead of the store across the street from them, so I blind transferred the caller to the correct number. The receiving store can have fun with that.
