Bat Top joystick - also known as a western or euro stick

If you grew up in the usa , uk , Latin America or even canada

You might remember some arcade cabinets / arcade machines that had a baseball bat or bowling pin like joystick... these are called bat top joysticks... they were usually made by a company called Happ who later were bought out by a company called suzo becoming suzo-happ...
One of their partners Industrias Lorenzo or IL for short who are based in spain

Makes higher quality bat top joysticks & arcade buttons .
EG starts also makes bat top style.
Also the style of arcade buttons such as concave and convex... concave are rougher on the hands while convex are smooth.

If you grew up in the 1990s you may have seen these on street fighter 2 , marvel vs capcom or mortal kombat arcade machines !

Bat Top joysticks were popular in the 1980s - 2000s

But have since been replaced with Japanese and Korean ball top joysticks such as sanwa , seimitsu, crown samducksa and many more !
