The statement "unfalsifiable claims are false" is itself unfalsifiable—a performative contradiction. The reminder is crucial in debates where skeptics demand falsifiability as the only criterion for truth, ignoring that falsifiability is a criterion for scientific claims, not for all claims. Unfalsifiable doesn't mean false—it means different standards apply.
