The end result of the word shortening evolution of WHATEVER, to which WHATEVERS came about and then became WHATEVS which now can be shortened to DUB V(short for the practical initials WV). By definition a exclamatory word of dismissal in a conversation, and especially an argument.

A new acronym for chat Web sites, "v and r" refers to "vernacular" and "reason."

Vernacular refers to the other person's mother tongue, or native language.

Reason refers to the reason they are using the chat Web site (what they are looking for, who they want to talk to, etc.)
