Pick me

The term "pick-me" generally refers to a person, typically a woman, who attempts to gain validation from men by appearing to be different from or less threatening to other women, often at the expense of those same women. This validation is often sought through acts or statements that imply they are "not like other girls" and align themselves with male interests or perspectives. The term is often used in a derogatory way, implying that the person is being disingenuous and seeking attention by appearing to be "one of the boys" or superior to other women.

A pick me Pearl is a woman that is willing to do anything for male approval, will embarrass or throw women under the bus but in the process she is rejected from the demographic of men she is pandering to, due to the fact that she is to masculine/outspoken.
