“No Face Picture” often combined with other acronyms but (most often with “NC” meaning “no chat). Used in a profile to directing other users that a reply is will only be sent if the sender has a profile picture of their face that his unobstructed. This is a method employed to minimize wasting time interacting with people who are too closeted to show face, those who lack the self confidence fearing rejection based off looks, and/or catfishers who intentionally are hiding their true identity.
