canadian piggy bank

When you owe someone a sum of money, but instead of giving it to them directly you leave it in a hidden place where they are guaranteed to find it. The owed party will initially be angry due to not getting paid in person, and the owing party will have to respond with "I'm sorry" the next time they meet, like a true Canadian.

I left Jake's money ia a Canadian piggy bank. I hope he finds it before he finds me.

Canadian Bank Robbery

Where you rob a bank passing along a nice note. something like "my name is Ted, please give me all the money in this establishment." It isn't illegal because whoever gives u the money is actually robbing the bank, you are just asking for it nicely.

Did you hear about that bank robbery last night? It was a Canadian bank robbery, they said the thief was a super nice and personable guy.
