Describes the moment where a male's voice cracks, especially with strain such as with shouting. The voice pitch suddenly rises and the contrast with the normal deep voice makes it sound like a squeak or 'pop'.
Especially used to describe teenage boys who are undergoing voice deepening during puberty; where vocal cords lengthen and thicken in response to testosterone from the testes. (Hence the use of the word 'teste' and 'pop'.) However, this term can be used to refer to young adult men as well.

Get the booty popmug. While originally it was defined solely as merely meaning popular music, the term has evolved, with a second definition.
This newer use defines mostly mainstream music. Catchy, simpler rhythms, repeating chorus, minimal (or no) guitar, heavy drum beats, streamlined lyrics that don't really have a deeper meaning, and so on. Acts such as Britney Spears, Lily Allen, late 80's/early 80's-on Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera, and the like... would not be categorized as rock, hip hop, R&B (while a common element of pop music), metal, blues, or anything else... it would be categorized as "Pop Music". It is a genre as well as a term referring to music that is popular.

Get the pop musicmug. A plastic ring with a large, circular base that is placed on the topside of your hand. A half-inch long plastic rod is sticking up out of it, holding on a flavourful lollipop. Tends to leave a sticky residue all over your hands, because when you suck on a lollipop and then let it 'dry' it kind of... Melts.
Kid one: -sucking noise-
Kid two: Why are you sucking your knuckles?!
K1: -surfaces- Dude! I'm suckin' on a Ring Pop!
K2: Oooohhh, cool!
