Japanese Sniper Trip

The " Japanese Sniper Trip " is a state of being that arises amongst those who smoke weed that is just a little too strong for them. The eyes narrow to very small slits and the person seems incapable of speech. Infact they look a lot like the archetypal second-world-war, Japanese sniper.

Traps

Australian slang from the gold rush era. Originally referred to police officers who would go around the gold fields to inspect gold mining licences who would use any excuse (such as your licence was not on your person) to arrest (or "trap") you. Later used for the police in general.

canoe trip

A euphemism used to describe getting the raw end of a deal. This can be used in place of getting screwed, getting fucked. The term originated from the common cover "We're going on a canoe trip!" used by couples to mask the fact that they're just heading to a cabin for sexual relations.

Scott: "Hey Will, how's your canoe trip?"

Will: "Getting railed. They're fucking me, brother."

Wife: "Honey, how was work today?"

Husband: "It was a real canoe trip."
