hand out work

When you hear this phrase, it means drop everything you're doing because we about to start the prank calls and the MF work is about to given out to anyone and everyone. Prank calls are usually the move for capping off the night. We roll out our best two callers, Henry and Shea, and then we also have York but he's just a filler, you don't really want him running the show....then again you never really want a tard fam member running anything. You know it's about to get epic when the niggas on the other end start yelling because at that point they're just asking for it. Once we get into a back and forth, you already know we coming out on top.
Ray Naker: Aye Henry, it's that time of the day, you trying to hand out work?
Henry: Shiii, bet, let me take a dab real quick first

Should just work

do work son

Big Black (best known for his role on MTV's Rob & Big) is credited with this saying -- in fact he has a clothing line named after it (dowork.com).

Do work means to do your best, get after it, step up and push through barriers, overcome & achieve, etc. It's basically a way of encouraging someone to work hard. A more redneck version would be Get'er done!

Son in this usage is referring to a close friend or at least someone who would appreciate the colloquial/familiar greeting.
Person 1: Man, I need to get some good grades this last semester...
Person 2: Do work son!

Person 1: Just landed an interview with this great company and hope to make an impression.
Person 2: Do work son.

Person 1: Imma get swole as fuck!
Person 2: Do work son!

Work Talk Violation

When in a social setting, an individual only talks about the work. They have such tunnel vision there unable to discuss any other subject matter that may be interesting to the other party as well. They are at a level of narcissism thinking that other people really want to hear them whine and complain about their work. These individuals tend never to ask questions about what you're doing. On the off chance, if you share some personal information about yourself, they can't remember those details because they are so consumed by their work life.
Sitting in the main square on the fountain, I bumped into my buddy Wayne who I hadn't seen a while, instead of catching up, he committed a Work Talk Violation.
