Edgecheese

A word used to describe a particular person or thing that tries to be edgy, but ends up becoming incredibly cheesy and hilarious.

One particular example of total edgecheese is the game Hatred. It is understandable that a game about a deranged psychopath going around murdering innocents can be disturbing, but the voice acting within the game is so cheesy and poorly acted that you can't help but laugh at it.

Half edgelord, half normie.

One example of a group of Edgenorms is the band Slayer. They may look scary and satanic but they're actually known to be normal people who wouldn't even harm a fly. And ironically, frontman Tom Araya is Catholic.

Amalgamation of the words edgy and ideology, it refers to ideologies that would either never work in a real life situation and/or have killed millions of people in the past.

Person 1: "Hey man! I think insert extremist ideology makes sense."
Person 2: "Can you stop romanticizing this edgeology that failed and killed millions of people in the past?"
Person 1: "Of course not! What else am I going to do?"
