Soundcloud is a terrible website for indie and doujinshi music publishing, greatly overwhelmed by lazy-ass Fruityloops users still dependent on midi files. Nearly every soundcloud user will try to whore his music around as much as possible, going to great extend to get their ego stroked as much as possible. Soundcloud's limitations are vast and almost force any serious musician into paying big bucks, while at the same time you're listening to true Napster/Kazaa quality 128kbit mp3 artifacts in the 21st century.

A: Wth man, why are you using soundcloud? Even youtube has higher audio quality and they're not even pretending to care about musicians!

B: Yeah but I like embedding their little player on every forum and website I come by..

soundblaster is a line of soundcards from creative labs that have a history of crappy drivers. Now, there cards install and work well. The sound quality blows away the onboard realtek junk.

I got a soundblaster X-fi xtremegamer hooked up to 5.1 channel surround sound. Before, I had onboard realtek junk hooked up to stereo speakers!

In business, the pre-curser to "blowing the whistle" or "whistle blowing". Typically, it is the act of generating awareness to upper management of illegal or unethical activities being committed by senior leadership in a firm or corporation, without disclosure to the media.

Ex. "It was Doug's choice in sounding the alarm to the Board of Directors regarding the financial irregularities performed by the CFO".

"sounds like sex to me" or "SLSTM" is a comment added after something non-sexual has been said that could be interpreted sexually. Similar to "that's what she said" - only more versatile.
