autocomp

To automatically assume that someone is competent based on who they are, their title, or position. as opposed to autoincomp, which is to automatically assume they are incompetent based on what they did and / or what they said.

Another form of radical belief along with autobelieve, which is opposite of autohoax. Term is particularly applicable to those presenting mainstream media news, as well as a great many political and corporate leaders.

To autocomp is to automatically consider someone competent and thus automatically believe them, without utilizing critical thinking to evaluate their competence based on what they actually did and / or actually said

After hearing what "expert" said, going to autocomp them and assume they are competent and believe it.
