Pownal, Vermont

not the worst place in Vermont but not the best either...its kinda like one of those so-so towns. Pownal Vermont has been viewed as the "Hillbillyville" of the 802...but really what place in Vermont doesnt have hillbillies, cows, rednecks, mud, green mountains, and snow?! One upside is no matter what season it is, people always have fun...snowmobiling over frozen lakes, snowboarding off roofs, diving off cliffs into freezing water, fourwheeling till you're caked in mud, and drinkin beer no matter what time of day it is...

Bill: "Why do you like Pownal, Vermont so much?"
Tom: "Lived there my whole life."
Bill: "Seems like a pretty shitty place to live."
Tom: "Nahhh, you get use to the manure smell after a while..."

Northern Vermont University

A sad attempt at trying to make two mediocre colleges in the middle of a frozen hellhole to seem like they’re a prestigious academic institution. RIP LSC & JSC.

I think Northern Vermont University has more skunks on campus than students.

Sutton, Vermont

Most people find out about Sutton when they get lost looking for Burke Mountain. Sutton is 11 "scenic" miles of welfare and depression. Along your drive you can see endless amounts of trees, only interrupted by the common dilapidated trailer which is accompanied by strewn car parts and random furniture items. Just hope your car never breaks down here. There is no store, fire station or anything for that matter. The town's people like to make believe they are still in the 1800s.

Dude I got lost today and wound up in Sutton, Vermont. It was really sketchy.

Milton, Vermont

A fairly decent town, compared to others in Vermont. Criticized by its' old stereotypes that are completely retarded, Milton students are framed, and judged.
School sports are improving a lot more. Academic skills, also.

Winooski student: Haha, you're from Milton! How much drugs do you have on ya'?

Milton student: Not anymore than you do...? Oh haha I see, you're still thinking people from Milton, Vermont are rednecks, wiggers, drug dealers, and all that other bullshit, aren't you? We're just like every other town in Vermont, if not better.

Vermont

Once a proud, hard working, take no crap, thinking state. Now a high, hippie infested, welfare cesspool, thanks NY for kicking all your hippies out in the 60's and 70's they all came here and we were not allowed to shoot them so they stayed.

Welcome to Vermont, we don't do anything here, just sit in the woods get high and talk about how great it would be if there was something to do. maybe if we weren't all high we could get something done, i mean Sh*t come on even Montreal is home to the Canadian Space Agency. We could do something... but no it seems all we care about is food and snow. Lame. We will never have good jobs, or contribute to the world in any significant way.

Native people in the rural areas in the state of Vermont, often referred to in regards of a "hick" mentality. Individuals who often partake in inbreeding activities who also have odd political beliefs that some how correlates to Hippies and Guns. Easily identifiable by poor oral hygiene, dirty clothes, and woodland printed clothing.
