The GD Effect

whenever something popular references about something niche, that niche thing will be overridden by fans of the popular thing, this happened most in Geometry Dash where you can choose songs from Newgrounds. Usually when a level got popular the comments of the Newgrounds song would be flooded with "Anyone here from ____??"

"Many people started to flood madness combat videos because of the fnf vs tricky mod."
"That sounds like The GD Effect"
"What?"
