The act of intentionally ignoring someone you saw just moments ago.

You run into someone you haven't seen in awhile and after spending a few minute catching & saying goodbye, neither of you leave (or you both go the same way).

So you give each other your best Diss Regard.

The thing Telly from the film Kids (1995) said to the shop keeper as a distraction, so that Casper can steal a drink.

Telly: (to the shopkeeper) Excuse me would you happen to have diss digg?
Shopkeeper: What is diss digg?
Telly: Diss digg I'm just curious if you have it.
Shopkeeper: I don't understand what you're saying, 'thirsty'?
Casper: (to the shopkeeper while walking out of the shop) He said 'this dick', motherfucker! Don't you understand English?

An act of forewarning someone that you are about to insult them, right before you actually do insult them.

For ex: I don`t mean to be rude (the diss-claimer)
Don`t take this the wrong way (the diss-claimer)

Yo, I`m gonna just throw out a Diss-claimer right now, so don`t take this the wrong way, but damn are you ugly!
