When someone looks up the definition of a word and then uses that word more often in conversation, consciously or subconsciously, because the definition is still fresh in their mind.
That's five times now Gulstaff has used the word 'conflagration' in a sentence. He didn't even know what that meant yesterday. Must be the Webster effect.

when looking in a webster dictionary and it links two words together but gives no other definition, or one that makes no sense thus causing stupid people to spend hours looking up a single word. used to take the time up of an annoying person.
