Superficial

Lacking depth of character or understanding. In the context of people a superficial person, as name suggests is someone who can only think about things on the surface level. Someone you can only "small talk" to, and usually lacks social skills in general.

"This guy kept talking to me about football during the whole party.. I've never seen someone as superficial as him"
