I texted you to see if my phone was working, cause "DUDE" ain't hitting me back. I waited like a whole 5 minutes.
Yo! You got that text insecurity. They probably just busy, chill out!

I texted you to see if my phone is working. I gave "dude" like a Whole 2 minutes to respond.
Yo... They might be busy. Don't give in to your text insecurities. Relax!

A guy who appears to be absolutely incapable of taking hints, but actually isn't. He just lacks self-confidence and doesn't want to completely embarrass himself by assuming that those hints are real, because he's not sure that his girlfriend is reciprocating those feelings or if she's just messing with him.
"My boyfriend is denser than a black hole."
"He's an insecure black hole, girl. He knows what you want him to do. He's just extremely shy and doesn't want to just assume things, lest he will make you uncomfortable. You have to be completely sincere to him, and you'll probably have to spell things out for him. Patience is key."
"Well, now he just sounds like even more of a loser."
"And you sound like a narcissist who thinks that a man has to be confident in order to be worth your time. That toxic mindset is never going to pick up any guys. Looks are nothing; personality is everything. He's a sweet guy, and you're an inflexible jackass."
"I want a man who can use his words."
"He has social anxiety. Did you know that? But by all means, why don't you go ahead and explode at him for being shy? I'm sure he would take that really well. Do you want to be the reason that someone committed suicide because they can't afford to see a therapist?"

To act as if you’re insecure about someone else’s actions, when deep down you know it’s because you’re committing to misdeeds.
An exchange about Ironic Insecurity -
Jack: It was messed up for Julie to blame her boyfriend, Christian, for cheating because he spoke to one of his female friend's, he didn’t do anything that was wrong.
Denis: That’s what I was thinking. And the worst part is that Julie was caught cheating on Christian with another guy last week and he doesn’t even know it.
Jack: It just goes to show that she’s ironically insecure.

Narcissists may also display this insecurity through a tendency to be aggressive and controlling. Insecure narcissists often feel the need to dominate others, especially those they believe are weaker than themselves. Their aggressive nature is due in part to their fear of inadequacy and low self-esteem.
He can’t handle criticism, he always has to be right. He pretends to be dominant but really, he is an insecure narcissist.

I'm feeling placement insecurity right now, I have Chemistry Honors, but I saw a girl in my grade who's in AP Biology.
When I entered my Algebra 1 class, I immediately looked around and felt placement insecurity as I was in the class with the bad kids, and my friends are already in Geometry Honors.
