A rare gathering between a Tech boy and a UVA girl. This occurance is rare because the UVA girl, due to her nature, often plays hard to get and only accepts to go out about 1/5 of the times that the Tech boy offers, despite the fact the UVA girl is in love with the Tech Boy and dreams about him regularly.
The UVA girl finally decided to go on a date with a Tech Boy. They went out to lunch and ate bagels.

A casual expression not to be confused with actually asking someone out on a date. At times, when you are to pussy to reject someone, u simply say "it's a date" even tho you dont wanna be a part of it.

1) A setting where 2 people meet usually prior to a date; at coffee or ice cream to evaluate the other person preceding an actual date

Two people go out on a what seems like a date but nothing occurs after the nights events. The time between the pre-date date and the actual date can be any amount of time but must be after a whole 24 hours. The male on the date doesn't necessarily have to pay.
A man and a woman who have know each other for quite sometime run into each other at a coffee shop and they decide to sit together. They talk about deeper things instead of small talk. Then they go their separate both knowing that something more will occur. This is a pre-date date.
