Stadi syndrome

Stadi is a common slang term for Helsinki or the center of Helsinki. Helsinki is the only large city in Finland.

Stadi syndrome is the behavior adapted after moving to, or living in Helsinki for your entire life. You're engulfed by hurry, hyper individualism, career and status oriented behavior. There's so many different things to do in Helsinki and you have something planned for everyday.

Helsinki locals have stereotypically been described, as busy and individualistic in Helsingin sanomat, and Yle. This is a stereotype not a medical term.

"He ran to the metro even though the next one comes in 3 minutes, he must have Stadi syndrome."

"I'm suffering from Stadi syndrome. All I'm doing is studying, working and exercising."
