Scene

A person who strives at being part of a specific group of classification. Often refered to people who listen and dress according to the latest fashions of Hardcore or Metalcore. Scene things to do is atttend shows(local small concert venues) regularly. If you are a true scenester then you will go just to mingle with other scene kids and not for the music. Scene kids are usually either straight edge (no drinking, drugs, smoking, casual sex) and are noticable with huge X's on their hands or raging alcoholic/drug addicted/sexaholocics. Scene kids are usually very noticable with tight clothing, some form of Blood Brothers clothing, and crazy hair.

Boys in girl pants or jackets.
Buttons in random places on shirts, jeans, jacket, hoodie, ect.
Hair styles where the bangs are longer than any other part of the hair.

girls in polka dots and neon colors with black hair and flirty makeup. abnormally thin boys in womens clothing touching up their own makeup. hair "Eating" their faces..making the poor kids go blind. dinosaurs galore. "like sexx" or "like woah" after every statement. probably a blood brothers obsession, when they know only on or two songs. mixing hardcore and techno (i personally dont see it happening..ever). kids(most of the time under 24, as stated in deffinition #1) who simply try too hard to fit in with the current trend.

Scene Kid

Scene refers to different scenes(i.e. hardcore scene, screamo scene)also refers to the "scene" being a show(concert). Most scene kids are very lively and alot of fun to be around. Guys normally wear tight girls pants, tight band tee's, and have steaks or chunks of different colors in there hair. Most peple call them emo, but hat steriotypical, and emo is a a type of music, not a style.Most guys are jealous of scene guys because they get all the girls. THE EXACT DEFINITION IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO EXPLAIN.

Look at that scene kid, i'm soooo jealous, He gets all the girls!

scene; the evolution back into childhood. often defined as "happy emo" (which is really oxymoron). lots of scene kids claim to go to many shows, most do. most of them are huge fans of bring me the horizon, which is defined as "hxc" (or, hardcore). they claim to be into all sorts of "hxc" metal music.. but none of them would ever listen to anything like behemoth, which is ridiculous. most everyone has extensions, and they tease their hair to get it as big as they can. lots of hair products. the whole "sxe" thing in the scene is controversial, as it is in every scene. the thing is, people lie. scene kids especially. they pretend to be all straightedge, either to please their friends or friends parents or whatnot, i don't know. but, they pretend. when they are not around their other straightedge friends they get totally shit faced and act like total sluts. that's just what most of them do, i'm sure there are a lot of them that don't do that. the ones that are serious don't have a label like "sxe", they are just "drug free", "slut free". most scene kids these days smoke camel no.9, because the package looks cool.. which, in itself, is what scene is about. they are original in all the unoriginal ways. they will not listen to punk, real metal, oldies but they will claim to. they will wear misfits shirts, even the occasional dead kennedys shirt.. but they don't really listen, seriously. this is truth from inside the scene.
