Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty, consent of the governed, and equality before the law.Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but they generally support limited government, individual rights (including civil rights and human rights), capitalism (free markets), democracy, secularism, gender equality, racial equality, internationalism, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion. Yellow is the political colour most commonly associated with liberalism.

Today many people confuses liberalism with social-liberalism - leftist kind of liberalism that formed in the late XX century.

Liberal

Originally meaning citizens who strive for better change/ or to make a change in government or politics. After 2016 it took a complete different meaning for a citizen to forget all meaning, and to change the American president(in support of women or minorities mostly).

A party that's suprisingly not mattered whatsoever through Donald Trump's presidential term.

Dang dude, just go to work and don't get anymore upset about the color of that hamster, you liberal.

When a liberal or Democrat say that they hate Trump but can not give a reason why. Or when a liberal says all Trump supporters are racist and you say that all BLM ,Antifa or Biden supporters like to burn buildings, be Marxist or kid sniffers and they say you should not group people together SEE THE HIPOCRACY.
