The symbol is formed on each hand, sticking the index and pinky fingers into the air, while balling the ring, middle, and thumb fingers into what resembles a small fist in the middle of the hand. Can also be used in the singular sense, as simply "hardcore hand".
After a session of rocking out, Dylan and Vinny threw up hardcore hands as a symbol of their metal dominance.
