Boo Hoo Moment

One of those moments when someone tells you something saddening, but not serious enough for an "I'm sorry" but not light hearted enough that you can ignore it without being an ass.

So you simple reply, "Boo Hoo Moment".

The friend then acknowledges this, and you proceed to move on with the conversation.

Friend: "Oh no! I spilt my drink all over my homework!"

You: ... "Boo Hoo Moment".

Friend: "Indeed".

That moment when you say the first thing that pops. in your head and instantly realize you want to take it back.

Talking to a server at a restraunt who is saying he has an opportunity to invest and make 100000$ fast and you say "that sure beats being a server" and he gets offended and walks away....the other people you are with say "wow that was a Diane moment"
