John: This could be a quick-win.
Beth: And how do we plan to do it?
John: You do it, not me.
Beth: You are a dick!

When two people are arguing and one tells the other to "stop playing games"! Yet the other person is always right, so they don't play games... they win them!
Dude: "You really gotta chill out and stop playing games!"
Dudette: "I don't play games, I win them!"
Dudette: "I don't play games, I win them!"

A total bu**s**t course of action agreed upon by two or more parties; supposedly it comes with benefits for all concerned, but in reality the plan generally ends in disaster, often for everyone involved.
A classic case of a win/win solution "gone sour" --- literally --- would be when a commercial farming-outfit approaches a nearby cash-strapped community to ask if they can pay them some much-needed revenue to dump organic waste in an uninhabited area of the municipality... at first blush it may sound like a good deal, but of course what usually happens in reality is that said waste "stinks to high Heaven" so much that the townspeople angrily vote to close the dump-site, forcing the mega-farm to look elsewhere for a dumpsite, and obliging the town to pay astronomical sums to have the already-dumped waste carted off to be disposed of.

"Winning on purpose" refers to deliberately and intentionally achieving a desired outcome or victory in a specific situation or competition. It involves setting clear goals and objectives, developing a strategic plan, and executing it with determination and focus. Winning on purpose requires a combination of skill, effort, and mental fortitude, as well as a positive mindset and the ability to adapt and make quick decisions. It may also involve considering the potential consequences and impact of the win on oneself and others. Ultimately, winning on purpose is about taking control of one's actions and choices in order to achieve a specific desired result.
Certainly! Here's an example of how the phrase "winning on purpose" can be used in a sentence:
"After carefully analyzing the competition and understanding the judges' preferences, she developed a strategic plan to ensure she was winning on purpose in the pitch competition."
"After carefully analyzing the competition and understanding the judges' preferences, she developed a strategic plan to ensure she was winning on purpose in the pitch competition."
