describing one who supposedly has the worst life ever; one who is emo is, typically, Caucasian, annoying beyond compare, dresses differently but doesn't necessarily stand out (in fact they usually fade into the background), has tons of friends but still complains that they have none, is named something edgy, listens to garbage music, references dead memes, is most likely LGBTQ+, sometimes trans, has dyed hair, and refers to themself as trash all the time.

alright. lemme clear some stuff up.
1. most emo kids don't cut themselves
2. they don't hate everyone, people just have bad opinions on them so they avoid people.
3. emo music is not shit. they literally save lives. look it up.
4. please. please. please. do not judge a person by their outfit or haircut.
5. emo music doesn't make people mad or upset, it actually calms them down and makes them happier. there have been scientific studies done.
if you see a person you think is emo, give them space. don't be up in their face about your opinion about them. they don't care about what you think, and they have a right to live too.

Emo
Definitely a miss used word... in my expericance it takes an emo a little bit of time to open up in both feelings and apperance. Just because one is emo doesnt mean they harm themselves or others. Not all emos are quiet, actually a lot of us are loud and cheerful, and mainly cause we hid behind a face, but no all the time. Emos are really chill people and are the best at giving advice. We also have a great taste in music! ;) I feel like people make fun of emos for no reason, and that should change, I believe we should bring the emo era back and people will finally know how awesome it is!
