OMG, we went to this ridiculous launch party for liquor/website/alt-weekly and it was packed to the gills with one stripe of Philebrity or another. We left so we could drink whiskey out of a flask in the park and then post about it on a messageboard later.

philozophy

Our attempt to make sense of existence, by living together and talking about it together.

This is in contrast to philosophy, a system of motivating beliefs, concepts, and principles.

Philozophy is what we all do, every day.

Philosophy is what someone else did, at some other time and place for reasons of their own, which we will never understand very well, and in most cases don't care to. Decent freshman course to add a few elective credits, though. That is, if you like lots of reading.

The best philozophy is done together, in bed, naked. Or, together in a warm, sunlit forest, naked. Oh, alright, anywhere you can be together, naked.

Philly Pro

One who aspires to be a professional gofer one day, but possesses the skills to only make it to the "assistant pro" level; you can find Philly Pros at the low budget courses in his/her home town. Philly Pros typically speak about, act out, and dress like a professional gofer, but in reality, they have a hard time breaking 90.

I wish that Philly Pro over there would quit walking around like he owns the course.

philosurfing

v. A strange phenomena that usually occurs late at night when you are surfing the web. You are very tired or in an altered state of mind and feeling very zen, meditative. As you surf, you find yourself pondering deep questions about yourself, life, other people, and the world around you; you search for answers; use the internet to search your soul

Last night I was really, really tired and on the internet... I had this wicked philosurfing session.

I found out why I am depressed... then stared at hundreds of random pictures and pondered who created them; what they mean in a different person's eyes. What do they mean to me? I took 23 quizzes that made me realize things about me that I never even realized. I laughed; I cried. Then, when I eventually slumped off to bed, heart racing fast and unable to sleep, I realized I had just gone to another realm of reality. No drugs attached.

Philly Plinko Upgrade

The action taken by attendees at Philadelphia sports team events whereby the attendee moves from inexpensive seats located high in the venue, to much pricier tickets located closer to the field, typically involving several intermediate stops en route. When viewed from above, the path taken by said attendee would mimick the movements of the Plinko chip - side-to-side, yet still descending - used in the game "Plinko" on the popular, long-running American game show "The Price is Right."

Following his 3rd inning restroom break, Tom decided to enhance his game-watching experience using a Philly Plinko Upgrade. His path, over the course of the next 4 innings was as follows: Section 305 Row 20, Section 207 Row 17, Section 106 Row 15, Section 110 Row 23, then finally Section 110 Row 5. Hello Philly Phanatic!
