Named after Velma Dinkley from Scooby Doo it is when a girl normally with small boobs puts on a big sweater giving off the effect of her boobs being bigger than they actually are.

Person1: OMG look at Stacy when did she get those?
Person2: Nah that’s just the Velma Effect.

The Butterfly Effect

The butterfly effect is a phrase that encapsulates the more technical notion of sensitive dependence on initial conditions in chaos theory. Small variations of the initial condition of a dynamical system may produce large variations in the long term behavior of the system. This is sometimes presented as esoteric behavior, but can be exhibited by very simple systems: for example, a ball placed at the crest of a hill might roll into any of several valleys depending on slight differences in initial position.

"A butterfly flaps its wings in Japan which causes tiny changes in the atmosphere, which ultimately cause a tornado to appear half way across the world. This is where the term "The Butterfly effect" comes from.

A phrase stemming from the phenomenon when Markiplier makes a video about a game, and a massive tidal wave of teens and preteens rush to create an awful, cringy fan base.

Five Nights at Freddy's, Baldi's Basics and Bendy and The Ink Machine all fell victim to The Markiplier Effect.
