People who most of the time have money, or can at least afford expensive things. Most of the time they are popular and greatly despised by thosed that just don't fit in with them. Called snobby and cocky a lot, but most of the time aren't even that way.

Girl 1: Gosh, I hate preps

Girl 2: You've never even talked to one, so how can you say that?

Girls and boys who think they have to be the best at everything. Usually the steriotype for a prep is some one who gets what they want when they want type of person. They only will listen to the "hot" music and follow in each other's footsteps. They dont know how to be themselves and they have to the expensive clothes.Preps think just because they have the coolest stuff and such they label themselves popular, and when popular means lots of friends...they really only have the few in their social group.

Well sometimes "preps" are labeled such just because they wear "preppy" clothesi.e. A@E, Aero, Hollister (the only preppy place i will NEVER shop at) Abercrombie and fitch, and others which aren't on the top of my head.They aren't NECCESARILY shallow conceited bastards who wellow in their preppiness. ...But most of the time they are.

There are 3 kinds of preps. At my school theres the 1A preps people like them and they are actually nice preps. They shop at A and F and AE. These are the well liked nice preps.
Theres the 1B group is the crappy slutty bitchy wannabe preps who say they shop at stores where a shirt is 3209590385 dollars but its secretly from Target. They occasionally where Aero and where last years IN shoe. This will have sluts. In this group at my school there is a girl who lost her Vriginity in 4th grade. Sick I know.
And lastly theres the 1C group: ANnoying RICH bitches. They have there own table and me and my friends stole there table at lunch once and they got super pissed. These people shop at Hollister and A and F. THey also wear last years in style shoe.

Preps arent nice usually.

there is no such thing as "preps". sure there are some people who are snobby and self conseived, but that doesnt make them "preppy". I mean wherever you go your gonna find someone like that. So stop labeling people and get a life. :)

people just wear what they think looks good, and even though you make think it doesnt, that gives you no right to degrade others.
