Asian Parents

Asian parents hold extremely high expectation for their children. To name a few, they sign their kids up for math tutoring sessions at an early age, they force their kids to pick up instruments (probably the piano or the violin), and finally, they demand perfection in the academic field. Furthermore, they are definitely going to sign their children up for ACT and SAT prep before the kids enter high school. If their child perform "poorly" (98 percentile) on a standardized test, Asian parents will make sure that they retake the test, and will also tell their child that they will never succeed because of one test. Asian parents also have a hatred towards electronics. If they are generous, they will allow their children to play up to 15 minutes per week, but nothing else. They also like to confiscate electronics if their kids performs "poorly" (A-) on a test. They will blame the electronic for the poor grade. If their kid were to get a 99 on a test, the it was the computer's fault. Finally, Asian parents completely disregard their children's feelings. By holding their children to such high expectations, the child often feels like a failure because he got an A instead of an A+. When confronted by their kids, Asian parents will claim that they "know better" because they are adults. An Asian kid will often see his American friend having a great time on Spring break, but will never get to know what it's like because of their parents.
Asian parents: Son, you have only studied the ACT for 2 hours and have only made 4 posters for science fair. Study more or you will work in McDonald's for the rest of your life!
Kid: It's Winter break. Chill.
Asian parents: Define the word "break."
Kid: Fuck
Asian parents: *beat child for swearing* There is no break for you! You need to catch up!
Kid: I'm already 4 years ahead!
Asian parents: NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Desi Parents

Parents from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh who are extremely strict. They share most of the traits as asian parents except they are CHEAP! heres more traits of Desi Parents.

1.STUDYSTUDYSTUDY! They think you should always be studying and focused on your studies even when its summer!

2. If they see you within one meter of the opposite sex that is around your age and not related to you they will freak out.

3. They are very strict and make no sense but still try to prove that they have a good reason for not letting you do something or go somewhere.

4. They are very cheap people. They'll be cutting out coupons and looking at ways for saving money. They'll keep stuff stocked in the pantry and their number one rule is to NEVER buy things on regular price.

5. They are racist. Even if its just a little bit.

6. If you ask to do something simple like hang out with your friends they automatically think you've become to westernized and have secret boyfriends/girlfriends and stuff.
Daughter: Mama can I go to the movies with my friends Samantha?

Desi Parents: What? Do you have secret boyfriends now? Do you want to wear short skirts? First this! Soon you'll be running away from home with your American boyfriend! HOW DARE YOU! GO TO YOUR ROOM!

Sun Sex and Suspicious Parents

Sun Sex and Suspicious Parents, often abbreviated as SS&P is a british reality series following groups of 18-20years old on their first girls/lads holiday in Greece or Spain. The teens think they are away from their parents but their parents are following and watching them throughout their holiday, revealing themselves on the last day.
The show is not staged though on the second and even more on the third series all the participants were suspecting what it was about.
How can all the parents on Sun Sex and Suspicious Parents end up saying how proud they are of their kids?
